Fondia is a law firm with operations in Finland, Sweden, Estonia, and Lithuania, that describe themselves as a legal innovator with a human touch. Being a responsible employer has always been in Fondia’s DNA, part of their values and one of the key cornerstones of their corporate social responsibility work.
As a part of their ESG-reporting, Fondia wanted to fully understand the state of diversity and inclusion in their organization. They turned to Inklusiiv’s experts for DEI survey process support.
Anonymity assured
One of the priorities for the survey was to ensure confidentiality and anonymity.
Inklusiiv provided an anonymized DEI survey tailored to Fondia’s needs. The survey was designed with a general link, ensuring that responses couldn’t be traced back to specific individuals.
This approach safeguarded anonymity while still delivering actionable insights. Inklusiiv also avoided reporting any data that could potentially compromise individual anonymity, focusing instead on broader trends and areas for improvement.
“As a legal service provider, we are quite demanding on certain details regarding the contracts and data collection, but Inklusiiv was on top of it all.” says Teea Lyytikäinen, HR Manager, Fondia Oyj.
Achieving a “Fondian” feel
Inklusiiv worked closely with Fondia to prepare the DEI survey. Fondia’s insights and specific needs were incorporated into the survey design stage. “This approach made the survey feel distinctly ‘Fondian’”, describes Teea Lyytikäinen, HR Manager, Fondia Oyj.
The survey process was further supported by comprehensive materials, including communication guides and strategies to boost response rates. “Inklusiiv’s support materials were a cherry on top of the cake, making the survey promotion and communication process super smooth on our side.”, Teea praises.
Expert recommendations to guide the way
The DEI survey yielded a deep understanding into the state of diversity and inclusion within Fondia. Inklusiiv’s expert recommendations provided a clear path forward for future DEI actions. “The results were eye-opening and the possibility of sparring with Inklusiiv’s experts was really useful to be able to grasp the right next steps.” concludes Teea.
The survey’s success underscores the importance of expert guidance, the right approach and collaborative preparation. Fondia now has a clear, actionable plan which is in line with their ambition to continue further embedding DEI values into their organizational culture.
